Hi, my name is Kayla, and I am reaching out for urgent help for our 1-year-old dog, Rex. Our sweet boy is facing a serious and rapidly worsening medical crisis, and we are doing everything we can to save his life.

Over the past several months, Rex has developed multiple complex health issues that veterinarians are still working to fully diagnose. He is currently hospitalized at an animal hospital, where he has been on continuous IV fluids since Friday, receiving pain management, supportive medications, and ongoing monitoring.

So far, Rex has been diagnosed with pancreatitis, liver inflammation, and a painful ulcer behind his eye. Most concerning, he has also lost nerve function in his mouth, leaving him unable to properly chew or eat, which has caused severe weight loss and further decline. His veterinary team continues to run extensive testing in hopes of finding the underlying cause and determining the treatment he urgently needs.

At this time, we still do not have all the answers, and his condition remains serious. As more diagnostics, treatments, and hospitalization are needed, the veterinary costs continue to rise rapidly. We have already exhausted so much trying to get Rex the care he needs, and with a new baby on the way, the financial burden has become overwhelming.

Rex is not just a pet — he is family. We welcomed him into our home this past year, and he has brought so much love into our growing family. Watching him suffer has been heartbreaking, and we are fighting to give him every chance to recover and live the happy, healthy life he deserves.
