My dad Rex has been fighting small-cell lung cancer since July 2025. He's keeping a positive attitude and his trademark sense of humor, but sadly you can't pay your bills and buy groceries with a positive attitude.

Our savings has slowly been depleted over these last few months, and although Dad was approved for disability, his payments don't start until the end of January 2026.
