Rewind Skin, founded by Juliet Penkin, recently experienced significant flood damage at its first-ever storefront location in Mission Hills, California. After completing a full buildout renovation in Spring 2025, Juliet poured her heart, savings, and years of work into creating a beautiful space that serves her clients and supports her team. The studio includes two fully stocked treatment rooms for Juliet and her staff, a retail and product area, a welcoming waiting room, a brand-new bathroom with professional makeup lighting, and a dedicated storage area for retail and supplies.
An unexpected flood caused extensive damage throughout the space—impacting treatment rooms, furniture, equipment, electrical tables, rugs, drywall, the newly renovated bathroom and vanity, storage areas, and inventory. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover the damages, leaving Juliet responsible for restoration, replacements, and lost operating time. As a small business owner, this setback is devastating—especially after just opening her first storefront.
This fundraiser is being created to help Rewind Skin recover, rebuild, and reopen so Juliet can continue providing the care, artistry, and community she’s known for. Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Flood cleanup and repairs
- Replacement of damaged furniture, inventory, electric spa equipment, spa furnishings, patio furniture, professional makeup kit with supplies, and other essentials for operations
- Restoring treatment rooms and client areas
- Supporting the business during lost income while closed
Any contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is also a huge help. Thank you for supporting Juliet Penkin and Rewind Skin during this incredibly difficult moment. Community support means everything.
