Help Revolutionize Dog Parks in San Diego
Donation protected
For those that have dogs, you know the struggle with traditional dog parks. They’re often dirty, stinky, and not much fun for dog owners. Finding a clean spot to sit can be a challenge, and let’s be honest – most of us are ready to leave after just 10 minutes. City owned parks are unsanitary, unsafe, and underwhelming.
That’s where The Park comes in (actual name to be revealed closer to launching!). Every dog (and every dog lover) deserves a place to run free, connect, and experience pure joy—The Park is that place. Think of it as the Top Golf of dog parks. Just like Top Golf transformed the traditional driving range into a fun experience for everyone, The Park is here to revolutionize the dog park. Imagine grabbing a coffee while your pup plays, bark rangers keeping the park safe, and regular deep cleaning so it always smells fresh. Plus, we’re all about community—live music from local artists, discounts at nearby small businesses, and a space where unforgettable memories are made with your furry best friend by your side.
This concept is already catching on across the country, and I’ve done my homework. A membership model is the best approach for The Park, offering exclusive discounts on food, drinks, and events for members. But I also want to keep it accessible, with day passes available for non-members.
With 1 in 5 people owning a dog in San Diego, the city is ready for this. Rising housing costs have made it hard for many people to afford a house with a yard, but The Park is the perfect solution. A safe, clean, and fun space for dogs and their humans to enjoy.
Rescue work and supporting adoption events are a huge part of my mission with The Park. I’ve spent the last year building a business plan, consulting with advisors, scouting locations, and yes—facing the fear of failure. But honestly, I’m more afraid of not giving this my all. The Park is what our dogs deserve.
This is just the beginning, and I’m going to need a lot of support from family and friends along the way. Funds received will go toward securing a location, building the park, marketing to members, and partnering with local businesses. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer. Thank you so much for your generosity and support -- I’m so grateful for all of you. See you at The Park!
