Hello all! My name is Erika and this is my hurt Toyota Tacoma. I sold my smaller SUV to get this baby because the community at large often needed access to a truck but there weren't many options. Since I have been in the truck, I have tried to put community care at the forefront of the ownership in helping transport people's large belongings, making dump runs for our unsheltered neighbors, helping folks move, or just to give rides for people who need one. Earlier this month, the clutch went out on the ol' gal and I exhausted all my funds (and access to funds) in getting that fixed.
So, of course right after all that, it appears the axle decided to up and split apart in the middle of no where on a flat road. I am due to start a carpenter's craft apprenticeship on Wednesday and am missing my last days of work at my other job due to this mishap. Things were already tumultuous financially due to the clutch situation and the expenses that come with starting a new career path in general. It is all very overwhelming.
I know that I have ask the community at large for financial assistance for myself and others in times of need somewhat frequently. I am hoping for the day when we will be more stable with our life's happenings, but it looks like today is not that day.
If I can get my trusty steed up and running- I promise I will double down on my efforts to put her to good work filling our community's truckish needs.
