Our movie car we lovingly refer to as "ELVIRA" had an oil leak on the way to the shoot. it caused the engine to completely seize and the gaskets to blow. a $300 dollar tow later and the engine is basically shot. we want to shoot a car day with it but the mechanic just informed us rebuilding the engine is going to cost $2800. 

I always try and do everything from my own resources first. I've never really asked for much help other than people's time. 

but this is beyond my ability to pay for leading up to xmas. who wants to help bring Elvira back to life and make her safe and keep her looking mean......
