Help Revive Cobb Cook Grocery for Our Community

My name is Cheyenne Schmelzer, I am a worker at Cobb Cook Grocery and one of the owners little sister. On July 5, 2024 our condenser and cooling system went down which costed us to lose $40,000 worth of inventory and $100,000 in product sales. Unfortunately we have no choice other than to close the store temporarily until we can find a solution. Any little bit helps, I’m not doing this per the owners request I am doing this because Cobb Cook Grocery is genuinely my home and the staff is my family biologically and non biologically. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. I will copy and paste Cobb Cook Grocery’s post for those who haven’t seen it.
“We are compelled to make the difficult announcement of our temporary closure. The unforeseen consequences of the cooler/condenser malfunction resulted in substantial losses of $40,000 in inventory and $100,000 in potential sales, with minimal restitution. We implemented every viable solution but ultimately could not recover. We extend our sincerest apologies to the community and reaffirm our commitment to transparency. We invite questions and will rectify any misinformation. Our focus now shifts to investigating potential grant options. The store will remain closed until further notice.
I will be turning comments off on this post but I will gladly answer any questions anyone has in messanger. It will make it easier to get notifications as well as communicate with you all. ❤️ “
