Revival Motors and Coffee Co. • Fire Relief

Donation protected
Hello, Olympia community and our family and friends across the globe. It's been a challenging last few days for us at Revival Motors and Coffee Company, to say the least. For those who do not yet know, a massive fire that started at the building under construction next door lit our building on fire. Our friend owns the building, and sadly, it is a total loss. The second story housed six scrappy new businesses and an apartment reduced to ashes. Our shop, occupying the first floor, is completely flooded and smoke damaged, the windows broken out, the doors gone or cut open, all of our coffee shop equipment, motorcycles, tools, art, collectibles, mementos, all still inside, condition unknown. The building is potentially unstable, so we can't get inside to assess damages yet. The fire also affected the buildings and neighbors across the street and next door behind us, and Pete Lea's auto shop behind us was also destroyed.

We want to take this moment to thank everyone for their outpouring of concern and support. We want to sincerely thank the Olympia Fire Department and the Olympia Police Department for their work in saving what they could of our building. The City of Olympia, Heritage Commission, and our neighbors on Capitol.

As of this time, Jimmi is out of work, and all of our staff is as well. Unfortunately, the bills still have to be paid, taxes, attorneys, cleaning, moving, storage, and the list goes on. We have held off on asking for help until now, but we think it's time.

Our future as Revival Motors and Coffee is murky at best. We don't know what is coming, but we know that pretty much all of it will cost us money. It is doubtful that there will be a fast solution to this mess through insurance, and the timeline to get back to work will be an extended one.

We never asked for this, and we have tried our best to be a self-sufficient business that gives our community far more than we would ever take. Please consider making a gift to help us through the uncertainty that lies ahead.

The tremendous amount of love and support so many have shown us has given us strength and a sense of how much you care. We love you all so much, and we couldn't have started Revival Motors and Coffee Co without everyone in this community and the motorcycle community near and far.  You have made our lives so meaningful.

We'll keep you posted on any changes to our situation.

With love, so much love,
Audrey & Jimmi and the entire RMCCo Team

Please consider donating to the amazing micro-businesses doing good work in our neighborhood. Many of them are struggling to get insurance to help cover their losses.  Everyone listed here lost 100% of their belongings.
