We are incredibly thankful for your unwavering support. For decades, GCA has been a cornerstone of our community, fostering curiosity, brilliance, and kindness in each generation. As we continue this mission, we are committed to ensuring that our children thrive for many more generations to come.

Our yard has long been a magical place—transforming into castles, home to superheroes, grocery stores, race tracks, rainforests, construction sites, gardens, and even basketball stadiums. It’s been the backdrop for graduations, pool parties, salsa dances, birthday celebrations, and vibrant Carnival festivities. It has been the heart of so much joy and learning as well as foraging friendships for our children. This year, we are turning our attention to revitalizing this special space. And we need your help.

Unlike many schools, we do not hold an annual fundraiser; instead, we focus on raising funds as specific needs arise. Our last campaign, three years ago, allowed us to make significant improvements to our building, including repainting, replacing all exit doors, and upgrading essential appliances like the refrigerator and stove and replacing an unsightly ceiling, all in the name of beautifying our learning space..

Outdoor play is essential for children’s growth—it enhances their physical and mental health, sparks creativity, strengthens social skills, fosters independence, and helps them manage emotions and stress. Our outdoor space has been a vital part of our children’s development, and now it’s time to give it the attention it deserves. This particular fundraiser will replace the worn ground cover, build a new fence, refurbish the aging playhouse, and create a dedicated garden.

Our yard and playhouse have served us SO well for over 30 years and we are looking forward to having a new space to be able to serve our community for ANOTHER 30 years. By coming together, we can create a safe, engaging, and developmentally enriching play area that will serve GCA families for generations to come. We humbly ask for your support in making this vision a reality. Together, we can ensure our kids continue to thrive in an environment that nurtures growth, creativity, and joy.
