Help revitalize a beloved Bushwick bar

Hello, friends.
As you may or may not know, I’ve had a rough couple of years, business-wise. While building my donut shop/speakeasy (Dromedary Donuts/Ra-Ra Rhino) and with a possible sale of the space in the works, I neglected my first project and my first love, Dromedary Bar.
That sale never happened (for a number of reasons but the main one being, I couldn’t let go ), so I attempted to run both spaces, though now heavily in debt.
Dromedary changed direction for a little while under the guidance of friends and former Dromedary employees, but it has become difficult for the new owner to run a Bar and work a full time job to make it work, so now I am back with both spaces.
As I still have time on the lease, I’d like to give it a makeover to bring something new & different, but also familiar & part of my personality, to the solace. Like I always have.
In the next couple of months, I’ll be taking over the original Dromedary Bar space (266 Irving Avenue (https://www.google.com/maps/search/266+Irving+Avenue?entry=gmail&source=g), currently Dromedary: Coming Out), but with a new name and direction that I think will be very appropriate and accommodating to the neighborhood. And as always, I will strive to make it a space that is open, inviting, and fun for everyone !!
I never liked being in a position where I’m asking for hand outs, but I invested all my finances and then some into the new business and don’t think I can reopen dromedary without making some needed aesthetic alterations. If we could raise some funds to redesign and rebrand, I promise I’ll make it worthwhile by bringing a fun, new space to the ‘hood… and we can all have a big party when I do!
Thank you, everyone.
PS. Even if you can’t con
tribute, make sure you come by and have a drink or three when we’re ready!
