On June 11, 2025, my grandfather, Reverend Harvey L. Sutton, lost his home tragically in a fire. My grandfather built this home over 50 years ago and, alongside my late grandmother, helped raise three generations of our family in this home. While we are grateful for the relief that insurance will provide, it will not cover the loss of personal items, furniture, appliances, and electronics, all of which were lost in the fire. At the age of 78, starting over is emotionally and financially overwhelming for my grandfather.

My grandfather has been a pillar in the community for over 60 years, serving as Pastor for churches in the Wateree, Columbia, Orangeburg, and Manning districts of South Carolina. Outside the church, my grandfather worked tirelessly laying sheetrock in homes and buildings throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, leaving his mark in countless communities with his hands and hard work. Harvey Sutton has dedicated his life to spreading the gospel and building homes for families to call their own. We are asking that you help us as we rebuild his.
