Help Rev. Marcia Pennicott Continue Her Calling

Elim Church of God has been in ministry 19 years. One of our dreams is to purchase a permanent church home. With the cost of real estate these days it’s impossible to do it alone.

Apostle Pennicott is no stranger to ministry. Her life is a life of purpose. Many have been blessed, delivered and healed through her anointed hands.

Pastor, Rev. Marcia Pennicott is an Ordained Minister with the Church of God in Cleveland Tennessee since August 2004. At the tender age of 13 years old she gave her heart to the Lord, under the leadership of Bishop G. A. Johnson, in the United Kingdom.

Pastor Pennicott is the proud daughter of Mother Phyllis Henry and Father Carlton Henry. She is the first child in her family followed by 5 siblings. She is married to her husband Elder Glen Pennicott 34 years and they have two son’s Andre and Daniel.

Rev. Pennicott currently answered the call to ministry in March 2006 and founded Elim Church of God where she is the Senior Pastor.

Many have been encouraged, delivered, restored, healed and transformed by God through her ministry. The Lord has blessed her beyond measure with the gift of healing hands. Her motto for life and ministry is, “be faithful to the work God has given you to do for only what you do for Christ will last”. She is here by divine appointment.

At 3 months old, she was trapped in an attic house fire. Her mother ran through a burning house to save her. She was thrown from the top to safety… She is still here by divine appointment”

At 6 months old, she was kidnapped from her stroller. The person who took her hostage claimed she had just lost a baby girl and wanted her to fill her emptiness. She is still here by divine appointment”

At 6 years old on a trip to London dock with her mom she missed her step between the ship entrance and the gap and fell into the sea. Life guards had less than a minute to rescue her … She is still here by divine appointment”

At 9 years old, she was bitten by a rottweiler and ended up with skin graphs to her upper body, doctor’s thought she wouldn’t make it…. She is still here by divine appointment”

In 2001 while driving on the I-95 in New York a tractor-trailer driver heading from Massachusetts fell asleep at the wheel. Her vehicle was sideswiped hitting the guardrail and landing on its back with her trapped inside. Someone called an Ambulance after seeing a trail of black smoke. When the Ambulance arrived, she was air lifted to Fairfield Hospital in CT “She is still here by divine appointment”

In the year 2010 a Con Edison pole carrying 4,000 volts of electricity fell on top of her car while she was parked and sitting, igniting the wires with a matter of seconds for her to escape before the car went up in flames… but “She is still here by divine appointment”

The person you see today could only be here by divine appointment. She is Called, Chosen and Appointed by God to serve. She gives back her anointed gifts and talents to work in the Kingdom of God.

Rev.Pennicott received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication’s and Business from the College of New Rochelle, Master of Science in Health Management and Policies from the New School of Social Research and Human Resources. Rev. Pennicott is also a Chaplain in the State of New York, a Certified Pastoral Counselor, holds a Doctorate in Christian Education. She was recently honored in the Church of God for 25 years of outstanding Leadership in Pastoral duties.

None of her accomplishments could have been completed unless the Lord was with her. Rev. Pennicott will tell you herself, she never wanted to become a Pastor. Her entire life is a miracle of the favor of God on her life. Often times she relates her life to the life of Jonah trying to run in the opposite direction. She has come to learn you cannot run from God when He places a call on your life and an assignment that cannot be detoured.
