My name is Virginia, and I am reaching out as the mother of Virginia Patterson-Nicely and the caregiver for my two-year-old granddaughter, Avery. Our family is facing an incredibly difficult time. This has left us in an even more desperate financial situation. Because this is an open and active case, I am unable to share too many details publicly, but I want to be clear that I am standing by my daughter and supporting her innocence every step of the way.

This situation has been incredibly stressful for our family, but I remain confident that Virginia will gain her freedom. Avery is confused by her mother's absence, but she is resilient and is being cared for in a happy and healthy environment with me.
