If you made it here to this GoFundMe, then you know exactly what it’s for. It is my intention to raise enough funds to reunite Tree with her beloved car, Herbetta. My husband and I have a sizable amount of money invested into the restoration of this car, and because we are not by any means wealthy, we can’t afford to just cut our losses and give the car back to Tree. We would like to recoup our losses on this car as well as raise enough money to perform more preventative maintenance on the car as well. We would like to replace the timing belt, perform transmission maintenance, and replace more parts on this vehicle that would eventually go out due to high mileage. When we give this car back to Tree, we want to make sure that it is in perfect running order for a long time. What would be the point of giving this car back to Tree if she would have to part with it again due to outrageous repair costs that she could not afford? It has also been brought to our attention, by Tree herself, that she is immunocompromised. So we would like to take extra steps to ensure that this car is clean and safe for her to drive.

A donation of any amount would put us one step closer to reuniting Tree and Herbetta, a love story 22 years in the making! This car should only ever belong to one person, and we all know who that is.
