Please help us reunite with my Father!
The day my family thought would never come soon became a reality for us. Like many hard working immigrant families, we are scared our loved ones will be stripped away from us by the works of unlawful ICE agents.
On Friday, December 12, around 7-8am, my father who was simply on his way to work was detained and arrested by “ICE” agents around Clifton, NJ. These agents followed my father in an unmarked car with no license plate and were only dressed up in black vests with the name “POLICE” on them. They had only asked my father to identify himself, and within seconds he got arrested. The had no probable cause to arrest him, and still took him away to a ICE detention center.
My father is a hard working man, a selfless man, who has only cared and provided for his family for over 20 years. In our family, we have an autistic 8 year old brother who desperately needs his father. Deporting him would break my family apart and put us in a hardship as we rely on him, whether it be for financial support, emotional support, we need him as a core part of our family. My father like many people in this country has paid his taxes and has respected the law. He has never committed a crime, he has never hurt anyone, he is a man of god and has still found himself in an ICE detention center. My father does not deserve this and the way he was taken away from us was unlawful.
Please help us raise some funds, whether you can donate $10, $5, or simply just a dollar, it is very much appreciated. This will help us pay for his lawyer, his personal needs, telephone calls to communicate with us, and for his bond. Some of these funds will also help the rest of my family pay for bigger bills, such as rent, insurance, food and other expenses. A little bit goes a long way!
Happy Holidays and may god bless you all for your help.
