Hello everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but my family is facing one of the most heartbreaking moments of our lives.

My husband was recently detained by ICE while on his way to work. Like every other day, he left home early that morning to provide for our family and our children. We never imagined that would be the last time we would see him before everything changed.

Later that day, I received a call letting me know that he had never arrived at work. I immediately started calling him, but none of my calls would go through. Panic quickly set in. It was completely unlike him to miss work or stop communicating with us. As the hours passed, I became more and more worried.

I got in my car and drove along his usual route, desperately trying to find him or his truck. I didn’t know what had happened. I feared the worst. While searching for answers, I came across a Facebook post that explained what had happened and where his truck was located. That was how I learned that my husband had been detained.

In a single day, our lives were turned upside down.

Now I am left caring for our children on my own while trying to navigate an overwhelming legal process. Our children miss their father every day. They ask when he is coming home, and it breaks my heart knowing I don’t have the answers they want to hear.

As a stay-at-home mother, I am facing legal expenses, household bills, transportation costs, and the daily needs of our children all at once. We are doing everything we can to fight for our family and keep us together, but we cannot do it alone.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us cover immigration attorney fees, transportation, and basic necessities for our children during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story would mean just as much.

Ayúdanos A Mantener A Nuestra Familia Unida❤️

Hola a todos,

Nunca imaginé que estaría escribiendo algo como esto, pero mi familia está enfrentando uno de los momentos más desgarradores de nuestras vidas.

Mi marido fue detenido recientemente por ICE mientras se iba al trabajo. Como todos los días, se fue de casa temprano esa mañana para mantener a nuestra familia y a nuestros hijos. Nunca imaginamos que esa sería la última vez que lo veríamos antes de que todo cambiara.

Más tarde ese día, recibí una llamada diciéndome que nunca había llegado al trabajo. Inmediatamente comencé a llamarlo, pero ninguna de mis llamadas llegó. El pánico se instaló rápidamente. Era completamente diferente a él perder el trabajo o dejar de comunicarse con nosotros. A medida que pasaban las horas, me preocupé cada vez más.

Me subi a mi carro y conduje por su ruta habitual, tratando desesperadamente de encontrarlo a él o a su camioneta. No sabía lo que había pasado. Temía lo peor. Mientras buscaba respuestas, me encontré con una publicación en Facebook que explicaba lo que había sucedido y dónde estaba ubicado su camión. Así fue como me enteré de que mi marido había sido detenido.

En un solo día, nuestras vidas se pusieron patas arriba.

Ahora me quedo cuidando de nuestros hijos por mi cuenta mientras trato de navegar por un proceso legal abrumador. Nuestros hijos extrañan a su padre todos los días. Preguntan cuándo viene a casa, y me rompe el corazón saber que no tengo las respuestas que quieren escuchar.

Como madre que se queda en casa, me enfrento a gastos legales, facturas del hogar, costos de transporte y las necesidades diarias de nuestros hijos a la vez. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para luchar por nuestra familia y mantenernos unidos, pero no podemos hacerlo solos.

Cada donación, sin importar la cantidad, nos ayudará a cubrir los honorarios del abogado de inmigración, el transporte y las necesidades básicas para nuestros hijos durante este momento difícil. Si no puedes donar, compartir nuestra historia significaría lo mismo.

Desde el fondo de mi corazón, gracias por tomarse el tiempo de leer nuestra historia y por estar con nosotros durante uno de los momentos más difíciles y desgarradores que nuestra familia haya enfrentado. Su apoyo, oraciones, amabilidad y generosidad nos dan esperanza mientras luchamos para traer a mi esposo y al padre de mi hija de vuelta a casa.
