My name is Rose Julian, and I’m a mom staying in Round Rock, Texas, reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.
On January 9, 2026, my husband Leo and our three children were in a terrible car accident in Tennessee. Our 3-year-old son, Leo (who we call Baby Leo), suffered a severe spinal cord injury and is now permanently disabled. At just 3 years old, he faces years of doctors’ appointments, physical therapy, and special equipment just to have any chance at a more independent life. Our two other daughters were also in the truck but thankfully only came out with minor scratches. My world stopped that day.
I’ve been working as a waitress at IHOP while also taking Baby Leo to every single appointment and therapy session myself. We’re staying at my family’s home in Round Rock for support until I can get us to Mexico to reunite with my husband. We’re doing everything we can just to keep him comfortable and give him the care he needs.
Right after the accident, my husband Leo was taken by ICE and deported to Mexico. In one moment we lost our car, our health, and then our family was ripped apart. Baby Leo and I are here in Round Rock while I work and manage his care, but we’re trying everything we can to get to Mexico so we can be a family again.
The biggest hurdle right now is transportation. We need money for a reliable car in Mexico and the costs to get us all back together safely—plane tickets or bus travel for me and Baby Leo, plus the vehicle we’ll need once we’re there to get to appointments and start rebuilding our life.
We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for a chance to be a family again. Every dollar will go directly toward the car, travel, and the ongoing medical needs for Baby Leo’s spinal cord injury. No amount is too small—$5, $10, $20—it all adds up and brings us one step closer to being whole.
If you can find it in your heart to help us, I will be forever grateful. Please share our story if you can’t donate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for seeing us and caring.
With love and hope,
Rose Julian
