Hello everyone my name Maria Vazquez . I’m reaching out today because right now my family is facing one of the hardest challenges of our lives. My boyfriend, Jorge Miranda, the father of my child, is currently in ICE custody. Jorge is so caring, loving, and an amazing father. He is responsible, very intelligent, and truly the heart of our family. Jorge has been here since he was 15 years old, and he graduated here in McAdory High School back in 2018. He has always worked hard to provide for us and build a better future.

We are doing everything we can to keep our family together, but the road ahead is overwhelming and filled with uncertainty. Every day, we are fighting to get legal help and to make sure our child feels safe and supported during this incredibly difficult time. The costs of immigration attorneys, living expenses for court appearances, and supporting our family while he is detained are adding up quickly. We are doing our best to manage, but the financial burden is more than we can handle alone. Every dollar raised will go directly toward legal fees, travel, and the basic needs of our family as we work to bring him home.
