My name is María, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family during an incredibly difficult chapter in our lives. For months now, my husband—the loving father of our two young children, ages 2 and 7—has been detained by ICE. This long separation has turned our world upside down, leaving us facing not only overwhelming emotional pain but also significant financial challenges. Every day, my children ask for their father, and it breaks my heart to see them struggle to understand why he isn’t home with us.

We are doing everything we can to bring him back and keep our family together. The costs of legal representation, transportation to visit him, and covering our basic needs have quickly become more than we can manage alone. We are fighting for his freedom and for the stability of our children, who deserve to grow up with both parents by their side.
