My father was a veteran who passed away when I was just 11 years old, leaving my mother to carry on as his widow for over 40 years. Throughout her life, my mom held onto the dream of being reunited with my dad, to rest together in peace as they had always hoped. They never got to retire together or travel as they dreamed, but their love and faith remained strong. As a young girl, I promised myself I would help them spend eternity together, honoring the legacy they built and the love they shared.

Recently, my mother passed away after a long and difficult battle with cancer and Alzheimer's. I cared for her during her final months, taking unpaid leave from my career to give her the best moments I could. It was a privilege to be by her side, but I had no idea how challenging and costly it would be to fulfill her final wish. The expenses for the funeral, burial arrangements, and a new memorial grave marker have become overwhelming, and I want nothing more than to honor my parents' memory by bringing them together again.
