Misslenys Hernández is a Venezuelan woman residing in Nashville, TN, who was unfortunately detained by ICE on March 20, 2026, at approximately 8:00 a.m. She was arrested while attempting to drop off her 11-month-old baby at daycare. She was mistreated by the agents at the time of her arrest and was not permitted to leave, despite the fact—known to the agents—that she is a nursing mother. Misslenys also has a 12-year-old daughter.
Misslenys is an innocent, hardworking woman dedicated to her children and her family. She has a pending asylum application and holds both a Social Security number and a work permit; nevertheless, she remains in detention. This situation has caused immense distress for her family, especially her young children who need their mother’s care and presence.
We are asking the community for assistance to help cover the expenses associated with this legal process and to reunite Misslenys with her children and her husband. Thank you in advance for your support and prayers. Your generosity will make a real difference in helping Misslenys return home to her family.
