Miss Jusmary has been a wonderful teacher, showing true compassion and care for each one of her students. Our son has learned so much in the last year and looks forward to seeing her every day. She goes above and beyond to make sure every child feels valued and supported, and her dedication has made a lasting impact on our family.

Recently, Miss Jusmary and her family have faced an incredibly difficult situation. Her husband, Jose Alejandro Mosquera, who has been in the United States for several years and has made all required appearances to maintain his legal status, was wrongfully taken away by ICE. He is currently being held in San Antonio until Miss Jusmary can raise the funds needed to secure his release. The legal process to bring him home has been overwhelming, both emotionally and financially. On top of the significant court and legal fees, Miss Jusmary has to pay for every phone and FaceTime call just to stay in touch with Jose, adding to the financial strain.

The money raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward the legal fees needed to help release Jose Alejandro Mosquera and reunite their family, as well as help cover the ongoing costs of communication while he is detained. Miss Jusmary does so much for her kids every single day, and I just want to help do this one thing for her.
