Hello Everyone,

my name is Amir and the purpose of setting up this page today is to help a long term friend who was recently detained by ICE. Maria was doing absolutely nothing wrong but we all know how things are working these days. Maria has been in this country for 26 years with not even so much as a speeding ticket on her name. She has done everything in her power to remain in this country and follow the laws and rules of america. She is currently in the process of trying to get her residency but unfortunately when ICE detains you they don’t really care about your story. We have hired her a lawyer and we are committed to helping her fight every step of the way because I do not know anyone more deserved than Maria. For any of you that know Maria you know she is a hard worker who would give the clothes off of her back if it meant making someone else smile. I understand these kind of posts have a lot of political attachments but that’s not what we are here for. We are here to re-unite Maria with all her kids and family. Please if you can even donate $5 that would be wonderfully helpful. The lawyer alone is going to cost over $7k and then if she is granted to opportunity to fight her case her bond could go up to 25k.
