Help Reunite Fuat Kaya with His Family

Hello,

My name is Cihad, and I am humbly asking for your help to bring my friend, Fuat Kaya, back home. On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, ICE agents went to his home and forcefully detained Fuat—despite his valid work authorization, pending asylum case, and established life in the U.S.

Fuat is a really good man. He is in pending asylum and he is married to an American woman named Amanda. He is the only one who takes care of the bills at home. He is 100% legal. Since arriving, he’s done everything right:

•Applied for asylum and a work permit

•Started a legal business

•Built a home and life with me in New Jersey

•Supported his 5-year-old son in Turkey

•Paid taxes and

•gave back to the Willow Grove community

Now, he’s locked in the Elizabeth Detention Center—separated from his family and livelihood. We are devastated and scared. Fuat is my close friend, his wife's caregiver, and he is the only family for Amanda here. He supported her through a traumatic pregnancy loss & surgery and continues to help her manage serious health conditions. During Fuat's absence Amanda will be struggling financially,mentally and morally. She needs our help !
