My mom, Elizabeth, was taken by ICE on her way to work. She is a single mother of four, the youngest being 7 years old. We are hurting knowing there is a possibility we will not see her again, especially my little sister who can't fully grasp why this is happening or when mom will come home. We know many other families are experiencing this same situation and my heart hurts for them too. It hurts me that so many families are being separated. During times like this, is when our community needs each other the most.
