Help Reunite A Child With Their Family Here In The US

The H. family was separated from their 2-month-old baby boy during the evacuation from the war in Afghanistan. Their child was left in the care of relatives in Afghanistan, while the family resettled in Oregon. Because the father was a translator for U.S. troops for many years, the family is here 100% legally. However, the U.S. government has failed over the past three years to reunite them with their baby, despite promising they would. The family needs financial support to continue their legal fight to get the U.S. State Department to reunite them with their child.

As a translator for U.S. troops in Afghanistan, the father took great personal risks to protect the lives of American soldiers. Now it’s our chance to support this family by helping reunite them with their son. The family is receiving pro bono legal help at this point but needs funds for travel once their child is finally authorized to join them in the US. Even a small donation will show this family that we appreciate their service to our country and honor our promises and commitments to those who help our troops.
