This isn’t a situation we ever hoped or planned to be in, and asking for help is not easy. But time is running out, and we’re in an urgent place where we can’t do this alone.

We're trying to raise funds to get to Las Vegas and retrieve important belongings from our storage unit, things we can’t afford to lose, both financially and emotionally. These items include deeply meaningful things like a wedding dress, family heirlooms, irreplaceable photos, personal documents, and collections. Alongside these are practical household items that would save us money long-term if we can bring them home.

The funds raised will help cover expenses including gas, lodging, and food for our cross country 5,000 mile round trip to Vegas and back home.

Right now, the cost of keeping the storage unit, while also not being able to access what’s in it, is only adding to our stress. The current cost of the unit, which has risen every year, is $220.00/month. Recovering these items would allow us to close the account permanently, saving us over $2,600 per year and allowing us to pay down other debts.
