Help Retired Customs Agent Dan Morse After Tragic Eaton Fire
Donation protected
Providing assistance for Daniel Morse (“Danny”), a 79-year-old retired U.S. Customs Special Agent who tragically lost his home and cherished memories in the recent Eaton Fire in Altadena, California. After serving his country for 28 years, Danny now faces an unimaginable challenge. Let's come together to help this hero rebuild his life.
Despite the chaos, Danny managed to save essential papers, a few family photos, and his beloved palomino quarter horse, Goldie, walking him through the fire and the smoke four miles to safety to the staging in area in the Rose Bowl. However, upon his return to his home, the fire claimed everything else—his horse trailer, clothes, furniture, irreplaceable memorabilia from his distinguished career, and his wife Carol’s keepsakes. Carol passed away two years ago, adding another layer of heartache to this tragedy.
Daniel Morse dedicated his life to protecting others. As a U.S. Customs federal agent criminal investigator, he began his career as a sky marshal, bravely arresting a hijacker, and later worked at the border investigating cartels and smuggling operations. He served on task forces with the Coast Guard, LAPD, LASO, DEA, ATF, and FBI, fighting to protect our communities. After 28 years of service, Danny retired in 1999, leaving behind a legacy of courage and commitment.
The Eaton Fire ravaged Altadena, destroying Danny’s four-bedroom home, where he lived for over 40 years after relocating from New Jersey. The fire also consumed his nearby rental property duplex in Altadena next door to Fire Station #12. Both properties were his main sources of stability and income.
Your generosity will help Danny:
* Cover unexpected costs and get back on his feet.
* Address the many aspects of recovery and support him through this crisis not covered by other sources of aid.
* Provide stability as he navigates this incredibly challenging time.
Danny’s life has been a testament to service, sacrifice, and resilience. As a devoted father, grandfather to six, and a hero who risked his life to keep others safe, he has given so much to his country and community. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
No contribution is too small. Whether you can donate, share this campaign, or send a message of encouragement, your support will mean the world to Danny and his family.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can help Danny rebuild and restore hope for the future.
