Hello, my friends!

I am Retaj Awad Najjar from Gaza. I am 15 years old and I am displaced with my family.

When we were first displaced at the beginning of the war we took refuge in schools. After that we took shelter in the Al-Mawasi area.

For the moment we are displaced in Khan Younis, Abasan and Wadi Al-Saber, where 10 people live in a small, worn out tent; There is my father Awad, my mother Tahir, my siblings and my baby brother Ihsan, who is only 7 months old. We live in a wasteland of bombed out buildings and we don't have money to pay rent for a room to keep us warm.

We need food and drink. And we desperately want a chance at a better future, as our life is one of hardships.

Before the war, we lived a happy and simple life. We had a house, but it was bombed. Now, life has changed to a more difficult and deteriorating life. We are facing exorbitant prices. We cannot even buy the simplest things, necessities like water, food, diapers and milk. I just hope that you can help me, even a little, to provide food and other items for my family.

Please help me and my family survive!
