At Min & HA Accounting CPA, we deeply care about our clients and our community. One of our long-time clients and friends, MinGa Korean Restaurant in Chapel Hill, was severely impacted by flash flooding on Sunday, July 6, 2025, caused by Tropical Depression Chantal.
MinGa is more than just a restaurant—it’s a family-run business that has served the Chapel Hill community with heart, hospitality, and home-style Korean food for years. Now, they’re facing an unexpected crisis.
The Situation
The heavy flooding caused:
Major water damage to the building Sewer System
A temporary shutdown of all operations
Complete loss of water service, which the Town of Chapel Hill is still working to restore
As a result, MinGa has had to temporarily close its doors, putting their loyal and trained employees at risk of losing income during the downtime.
Our Goal
We are raising funds to help retain MinGa’s hardworking staff by covering payroll during this temporary closure. 100% of all proceeds will go directly to support the employees during this challenging time. Keeping the team together is crucial to a successful reopening once utilities are restored.
