Help Restore Vision for a Leukemia Survivor

Donation protected
2 1/2 years ago, I was diagnosed with advanced myeloid leukemia. After three rounds of chemo and a bone marrow transplant, I’m now currently in remission. That’s a wonderful thing, but unfortunately, I’m now experiencing graft versus host disease. That is where my donor's immune system is fighting my immune system in my eyes, therefore making me legally blind. 270/20 is my left eye and 260/20 is my right eye. There’s this device called a screllens, and I was fitted for it last week. They put a device to show me what I’d be seeing through those lenses, and it was almost 20/20 vision.

I’m currently on disability, and after I pay rent and my portion of the bills, I have zero cash left. I live off of $160 in food stamps a month.

I just want to get my life back to semi-normal, maybe get a job, get out of the house, and see things.

I understand I’m a nobody, so I’m taking a shot in the dark and wishing for the best. If I can just get the $800 for the lenses, that would be cool, and I’d be thankful from the bottom of my heart to whoever helps me.

Please help this guy see again. Going through the four months in the hospital dealing with this leukemia was tough. The leukemia is fixed, but my eyes are trashed, and there’s a fix right in front of me, but I have no access to it….

I thank everyone in advance. I could babble on all day about this, so I guess I’ll put this in everybody’s hands and see what happens.
