Help Restore True Holiness Temple After Break-In & Vandalism
On behalf of True Holiness Temple in Cleveland, we are reaching out with heavy hearts — but unwavering faith.
Last week, our church , a historic house of worship that has served this community for generations, was broken into and desecrated.
Intruders forced their way inside and:
• Stole musical instruments used in worship
• Took extension cords and Power tools
• Entered our basement mechanical room
• Shut off our water supply
• Used our own Power tools to cut out and steal copper piping
This was not just theft, it was an attack on a sacred space that has been a refuge, a place of prayer, a community center, and a beacon of hope for Cleveland families.
About Our Church
True Holiness Temple is located in the historic former Cleveland Playhouse / 77th Street Theatre building. For decades, this building has been a spiritual and cultural landmark in our city. We are currently in the middle of a restoration effort to preserve this sacred and historic structure for the next generation.
Our mission is simple:
To restore the Temple and restore a generation.
We feed families.
We mentor youth.
We host community events.
We provide a safe place for worship, prayer, and growth.
And now — we need your help.

The Damage
The theft and vandalism have left us with:
• Thousands of dollars in stolen instruments and Power equipment
• Damaged plumbing from copper pipe removal
• Water system disruption
• Setbacks to our ongoing restoration work
We are seeking to raise at least $10,000 to:
• Replace stolen instruments
• Replace essential tools
• Repair plumbing and copper piping
• Restore what was damaged
• Strengthen security to prevent future incidents

How You Can Help
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
If you cannot give financially, please:
• Pray for our church family
• Stand with us in solidarity
We believe what the enemy meant for harm, God will turn for good.
This building has stood since the early 1900s.
It has survived decades of change.
And it will not fall because of this.
Together, we will rebuild.
Together, we will restore.
Together, we will rise stronger.
Thank you for standing with True Holiness Temple.
With faith and gratitude,
Bishop Anthony D. Dixon Sr.
Senior Pastor, True Holiness Temple
