A devastating fire recently broke out at the Timbuktu Islamic Cultural Center, causing extensive damage to all four floors and the basement. After the fire department bravely put out the flames, even more damage was discovered, leaving the masjid in a state of disrepair. As a result, the masjid is currently closed, and our community has been forced to find an alternative place for worship (salat) until we can gather enough support to restore our beloved center.

The funds raised through this campaign will go exclusively toward repairing the damages on all four floors and the basement, as well as replacing the equipment that was lost in the fire. Every dollar will help us rebuild and reopen the masjid, allowing our community to come together once again in our sacred space. Your support will directly impact the lives of those who rely on the masjid for worship, learning, and connection.

Our noble prophet (SAW) said, "Anyone who builds a house for ALLAH, ALLAH will build for him/her a house in Djanna (Paradise)." Any investment in fixing the house of ALLAH will be Sadaqat Djaariya for you—a permanent charity with ALLAH. ALLAH promised to replace for you any amount you spent for his sake. The masjid may remain closed unless kind people like you open their heart and spend whatever amount you can. May Allah bless anyone who helps fix the Masjid.
