Let’s Support and Help this Family Rebuild

On Sunday, August 10th, my partners Aunt, Danielle Jones a single mom of 2 from Brown Deer, WI, experienced unimaginable loss during the historic Milwaukee flood. The water rose so quickly it reached the fourth step of her basement stairs, destroying nearly everything in its path.

She lost her entire home office — the very heart of how she supports her family — along with countless personal items, cherished memories, and essential medical supplies for her son, Kerrick, who lives with muscular dystrophy. Their furnace and AC unit were completely ruined, leaving them without heating or cooling. Washer/Dryer and water heater all a total loss.

Her basement wasn’t just a storage space — it was their entertainment area, their safe place, and the center of their home life. Now, it’s gone.

To make matters worse, their insurance has denied coverage for the damages. Every repair, every replacement, every medical item must be paid for entirely out of pocket.

Their basement was more than just storage but was their sanctuary, and right now, they need our help to make it livable again.

• Replacing destroyed medical equipment and supplies for Kerrick

• Rebuilding the home office so she can continue to work and support her children
