The Phoenix Club has long been a cherished gathering place for our community, offering a welcoming space for dinners, social interactions, and special events. As a member, I’ve seen firsthand how much this club means to so many people—it's a place where friendships are formed, memories are made, and our community comes together.

Recently, while the club was closed on a Tuesday, a burst in the sprinkler system in the attic caused extensive water damage throughout the building. The motion detector went off to alert someone, but by the time help arrived, the damage was already significant. The bar area was hit especially hard, with major destruction to the furniture and fixtures. The chairs in the bar now need to be reupholstered, and both the ceiling and carpet require complete replacement. While the club does have insurance, it will not cover all of the damage. The impact of this damage has been devastating, leaving the club unable to serve its members and the wider community as it always has.
