This isn’t just a business – it’s a legacy. Penland and Son’s has been passed down through generations, and today, after Hurricane Helene, we’re standing in the mud, trying to pick up the pieces of our family’s history.

The flood has destroyed everything Penland & Son’s has worked for. The Penland family owners are doing everything they can to clean up, but rebuilding will take time, effort, and funding that we don’t currently have.

My name is Ryan Rector, and I’m the grandson of George Penland, the second-generation owner of Penland & Son’s. My family’s store has stood the test of time for generations, but after the storm, we’re facing one of our toughest challenges yet. I’m reaching out to ask for your help in pulling our family business out of the mud and back to the strong, proud place it once was.
