The Bear fire ripped through Berry Creek California Tuesday, causing devastation to many. With just 4 hours to grab what they could and flee, Sean, Kayla, their two kids, Seans Mother and their pets were able to evacuate to safety. Tragically, the Bear Fire devastated all of Berry Creek as it burned through rapidly overnight to Lake Oroville. This family has now lost their home and most of their belongings. While we are so grateful that they are safe, there is a huge loss in losing the home and property that was to be their forever home. Anyone who knows this family, is completely heart broken as they have worked so hard on their property to make it their own. They would never ask for help being the gracious people they are, so We want to help take some of the stress and burden that this disaster has caused off of them. We may not be able to replace everything they have lost, but we can help provide hope for their future.
If you feel like donating, please do so. Anything can help and would be much appreciated. All of this gofundme will go directly to them to aid them in figuring out the next steps and rebuilding their lives.
We understand that in these uncertain times it may be difficult to donate. If you cannot help financially, please share this post and link to GoFundMe to help spread the word.
"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
1 John 3:18 NIV
"When you happen on someone who’s in trouble or needs help among your people with whom you live in this land that God , your God, is giving you, don’t look the other way pretending you don’t see him. Don’t keep a tight grip on your purse. No. Look at him, open your purse, lend whatever and as much as he needs. Don’t count the cost."
