Help Restore The Bridge Wellness Center in Saxapahaw
Donation protected
Our neighbor Lauren’s small business, The Bridge Wellness Center, was completely devastated in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Chantal. A beloved part of our Saxapahaw community, The Bridge was far more than just a gym - it was a vital gathering space for healing, movement, and connection.
The Bridge was more than a gym – it was a healing space in Saxapahaw, NC where people gathered for fitness, yoga, connection, and support. It was home to community programs like Slinky Kids, which brought movement and mindfulness to kids through yoga, breathwork and play. It welcomed people from all walks of life, village residents, visitors, families, anyone seeking wellness and peace.
The Bridge also offered access to its sauna and showers, and housed a therapy room that supported acupuncture, reiki, massage, and other healing practices. It was a true hub of health and care.
Now, everything is gone. All equipment needs to be replaced including treadmills, stationary bikes, ellipticals, plus yoga gear, art, and other precious items that made the space feel like a sanctuary.
We’re asking for your help to rebuild what was lost. We are hoping to raise $35,000 to replace equipment, restore the space, and reopen The Bridge as soon as possible. Any donation – big or small – will directly support Lauren in bringing this vital community space back to life.
Thank you for supporting this incredible space and the people it serves.
