Help Restore The Backyard Bar in Englewood

more comfortable barstools so here’s your opportunity to donate.

As many of you already know, we unfortunately took a big hit from not only Hurricane Helene but also Hurricane Milton. We almost made a small comeback after Helene, but unfortunately, Milton took or destroyed everything that was left to salvage. For those who aren’t familiar, insurance doesn’t generally cover water damage like this at marinas or many businesses on/near the water. We have a long road of recovery ahead.

This is a small, family-owned operation that is a local favorite in Englewood, FL. The Warmacks are by far some of the most hardworking people I know, and seeing them go through all of these hurricanes breaks my heart more and more each time. They deserve the world because they are so selfless and always doing for others. They prioritize friends and family over themselves, so it’s time to give back to them.

My local regulars have become family over the years, and all I want to do is be able to welcome them back as soon as possible. I joke that this GoFundMe is for barstools, and for anyone who has come into our bar, you would absolutely get the joke. I wish that was the case, but this is for an entirely new bar. The original shed, stage, bar, and majority of the equipment are all gone or destroyed. But yes, new barstools are finally in the cards for those asking.

I pray for every resident and business owner that was impacted by these storms. Mother Nature really never gave us an opportunity to prepare for round two, and it’s going to be a while before we have our old Englewood back. ❤️
