Help Restore the Arnprior Bowling Alley!

Arnprior's Bowling Centre (now known as Steelheads and Strikes) needs our help!

Matt and Alicia Ott, the incredible family who took over the bowling centre last year, have an opportunity of a lifetime to return this integral social community space to its former glory.

They just received news that Arnprior's little historic bowling centre is going to be showcased on a very popular renovation-focused TV show. Originally, the plan was for the renovations to take place in December and January, with lots of time to plan and raise funds... but the showrunners now want to film in August... Four months early!

The film crew arrives in two weeks.

And unlike what many renovation shows portray, the network doesn’t pony up to cover all the costs. They contribute a CHUNK of money and labour, yes, but the entire rest of the cost falls to the business owners.

That means Matt and Alicia. They have already launched their own initiatives to try to raise the rest of the funds they need to tackle this massive project. If you know them at all, you know that they are HUSTLING their butts off to make this work.

We’ve seen how much they help others in their community (donating thousands of products to healthcare workers during the pandemic, hosting countless fundraisers, donating use of the Bee Savvy kitchen, helping fellow business owners in their times of need) – and now we want to help THEM.

By raising this money, we can see the bowling alley turned into a glorious and revitalized community hub that the entire town can be proud of ...THIS YEAR. Our families, organizations, and community groups can start benefitting from this space ... THIS YEAR! By capitalizing on the resources this TV show will provide, our town could see this restoration happen THIS YEAR, instead of years from now.
