My name is Steven Campbell, and I'm raising funds for my sister Susan, who's house in New Port Richey, FL was devastated by the storm surge caused by Hurricane Helena, and subsequently with wind damage from Hurricane Milton .

The storm surge flooded her entire house, and ruined everything inside.

~All flooring destroyed

~All walls destroyed, as the bottom section of every wall was damaged by the flood waters.

~Refrigerator, washing machine, dryer and other appliances ruined.

~Water heater destroyed

~All beds and furniture ruined.

~Car rendered a total loss.

~Grandchild's clothes and toys ruined.

~~~In short, everything is gone, but any donation that can be used to start to fix or replace the listed items above is top priority.
Things are made all the more dire because Susan is a senior citizen on government disability with a fixed income. Her son Rory does live with her and helps pay normal expenses, but this total loss is well beyond their means. Of major concern is getting the house into a safe, living condition, especially for Rory's 4 yr old son Harrison.
The photo I've posted is an aftermath shot taken the morning after, after the storm had passed and the water had started to recede. As power was lost during the storm at night, they obviously weren't taking photos when the flood water was at it's height. At it's maximum the water was up at least 2 feet.
In addition, Hurricane Milton has again led to power outage like Helene, and Milton's winds damaged the home's roof, leading to more water damage in 3 rooms.
Any money you can donate to help Susan to repair and replace all that the hurricane has destroyed will be appreciated beyond words. Thank you for reading.
