Help Restore St Mary's Cathedral – A Spiritual Home for the Assyrian Community

With immense gratitude and joy, we are proud to share that, through the unwavering support of the Assyrian community, we have successfully purchased our new church - St Mary's Cathedral. This sacred space stands not just as a place of worship, but as a symbol of our heritage, unity, and enduring faith.

Now, we face the next vital step: restoring and preparing our church for future generations.

Essential works must be carried out. These include:
• Refitting the flooring
• Repairing and pointing the historic brickwork
• Restoring or replacing windows
• Installing a full heating system
• Providing pews and furnishings for worship

These renovations are necessary to preserve the beauty and integrity of the church, ensuring it remains a warm, safe, and welcoming home for all who enter.

We are now reaching beyond our local Assyrian community and appealing to the wider public – friends, supporters, and well-wishers from all backgrounds, in the UK and beyond. Your charitable donation, no matter how big or small, will help us bring this sacred vision to life.

This is more than just a building project. It’s a mission to protect our cultural and spiritual identity, to provide a space of peace and community for current and future generations.

Please consider supporting us and sharing this campaign. Together, we can restore St Mary's Cathedral and create a lasting legacy of faith, unity, and hope.

Thank you for standing with us.
