Help Restore SSG Josh Melton’s Memorial Statue
Hello friends, family, and supporters—
My name is Alex Pracht, and I had the honor of serving alongside Staff Sergeant Josh Melton in the United States Army. Josh was not only a brother-in-arms but a remarkable friend, and his memory continues to inspire all of us who knew him. I am creating this GoFundMe campaign together with Josh’s father, Mike Melton, to ask for your help in repairing the statue that stands in Josh’s honor.
Recently, the statue commemorating Josh’s service and sacrifice was damaged. This memorial means so much to his family, friends, and our entire community. It serves as a powerful reminder of Josh’s bravery, his selflessness, and the price he paid for our country. The damage to the statue has been heartbreaking, but with your support, we can restore it to its original condition and ensure that Josh’s legacy endures for future generations.
All funds raised will go directly to the repair or replacement of the statue, covering materials, labor, and any necessary restoration work to bring it back to the way it was meant to be seen—standing strong and proud.
Whether you knew Josh personally or simply want to support the memory of a true American hero, every donation will make a difference. On behalf of myself, Mike Melton, and everyone who carries Josh’s memory in their hearts, thank you for your generosity and support.
Til Valhalla, brother.
With gratitude,
Alex Pracht & Mike Melton
