Please donate for my niece, Michele (Shelly) whose home was severely damaged by flooding from Hurricane Helene and further damaged by wind from Hurricane Milton! Her home is at the end of a large canal that connects to the Gulf of Mexico. She is safe and staying with her daughter but lost kitchen cabinets, doors, windows, furniture, etc. and due to the prohibitive cost of hurricane/flood insurance, is uninsured for her losses.

The funds will be used to remediate the water damage to all the walls and to replace the furniture and other household items that were destroyed. The house took in about two feet of water but it was the force of it along with high winds that added to the damages. Her home had just been renovated in 2022-2023 with a new kitchen, new furniture etc.

She had borrowed money to complete all the work, which she is still paying for. She ran her business from her home so now she cannot even work!! I fortunately live in Williamsville NY which is a suburb of Buffalo and while we get some pretty wild snow storms I cannot even imagine losing everything to the unforgiving power of a major hurricane!
