Help Restore ΣAE NV Alpha's Chapter House

Donation protected
Brothers this is a call to action!
I do not say this lightly but if we do nothing now the house will continue to deteriorate and SAE will be gone. Yes, GONE!
Please read further…

If you do not know me, I am Mike Angier pledge class Fall 1996 (Piss Drunk Cocks)!

During homecoming I attended the dinner at Louie's’s after which we then went to the house; I hadn't been there in a while.

The state of the house was honestly upsetting to me, this is not due to the last few years for actives but simply lack of funding for a long period of time and low active membership. Over the last 2 decades plus I've been busy building my business, raising a family, and hadn't paid much attention.

After that night, I asked myself, "do I want to see SAE here when I visit for homecoming when I'm old and grey?" The answer is obviously yes but I'm also extremely worried that it won't happen.

The older generations that we relied on are not there to keep the house running financially anymore, we cannot rely on them as they are late into their golden years. Thankfully, well over 20 members joined the house this past fall and this current spring due to good recruiting.

I don’t believe that will be the case going forward if we keep letting the house fall apart.

So, to start getting the house in shape, I am matching $50,000 in donations through GoFundMe this year. The 1st round of $25,000 will be for the downstairs bathroom. The bathrooms are gross and unsafe, that is unacceptable.

We will also be giving the chapter room a facelift if enough money is raised. Then the next round will be another $25,000 matched from me prior to homecoming to get the upstairs bathroom done and some minor other repairs.

This fundraiser is different, I will be directly involved to make sure the funds go where they should be along with Dan Flowers and Todd Brabin.

A couple things to think about:

If you pledged to help the house as an active when you could, this is the time!

SAE cannot maintain financially without actives. If the house is in shambles, No actives, No Actives means no house.

Lending is not an option; banks will not touch us! Trust me I thought the same thing, its not an option.

For me…Its time to give back from which I have benefitted from. Almost all my best friends that I get to hang out with are SAE’s and the ancillary benefits are unquantifiable.

When I moved here (1996) after 6 years in the Marine Corps at age 25 I didn’t know a sole. I was lucky to meet a few SAE’s and they convinced me to pledge and honestly, I would do it 100x over!

The house is hanging on by a thread, but Actives are ready to turn things around. I plan on being in this fight until the house is on stable ground and flourishing.

This is the time, let’s build back together and create a strong future for the house! So please join me and donate what you can then grab two (or more) of your best PA brothers and convince them to do the same. If successful in 2025, we will keep going!
