Help Rebuild Rose Hall Basic School

Help to Impact Lives has long been a dedicated benefactor to Rose Hall Basic School - supporting through fundraising, cash donations, and in-kind contributions. Last July, after Hurricane Beryl damaged part of the roof, the organization quite literally went to great "heights" to assist - climbing onto the roof to help with repairs.

But unlike Beryl, Hurricane Melissa was far less forgiving. This time, the entire roof was blown off, and virtually all the furniture and teaching aides were damaged.

As Mrs. Farquharson rightly pointed out, Rose Hall Basic School has played a vital role in the early education of many- including myself. That’s why I’m personally motivated to help restore the school, so it can continue serving the 38 students who were enrolled and remain a cornerstone of the community.

Why Your Support Matters

Rose Hall Basic is not a government-funded school. Most of its operating budget comes from student fees - which often fall short. And yet, the school never turns away children who can’t afford to pay. In fact, there have been times when more than half the students attended without paying fees.

Help to Impact Lives has helped the school to be able to bridge these gaps - covering teacher salaries and other essential expenses. But with the roof gone and the damages to the classrooms, the school cannot operate. Teachers have lost their income. Students have lost their classrooms. The community has lost a vital resource.
