Rebuild Lives: Rondel Village Staff Relief Fund

My name is René Wright, and I am from Negril, Jamaica. I am part of the family that owns and operates Rondel Village, a proudly Jamaican-owned hotel that has been serving guests on Negril’s Seven Mile Beach for over 40 years with 56 staff members who are family.

Our 56 team members from Westmoreland are the heart and soul of our hotel—many have been with us for over 10, 20, and even 30 years, serving guests with warmth and dedication.

Why I’m Raising Funds

Our beloved staff has major damage from Hurricane Melissa, many lost their homes.

More than half the staff have not been able to return to work, having lost their homes, roofs, and everything they own. These are hardworking Jamaicans who have spent decades helping to build and maintain Rondel Village into the beloved destination it is today.

We are asking for your help to support our team members as they rebuild their lives. All funds raised will go directly toward helping staff repair or replace their homes, purchase essential supplies, and recover from this devastating loss.

How the Funds Will Be Used

All funds raised will go directly toward assisting our staff members
