Hi My parents need help, they have been without power for over a week with their food gone bad, gas is too expensive for generator use, and they are on a fixed income. Their electric meter burned down due to high voltage from lightning in the area they live. The bill is over $11,000 dollars to fix it not including tax and until it is fixed they remain without power in their home they have had since the early 70's. They are very loving grandparents who have always helped others always. They have worked so hard all their lives and have depleted any savings they had. Please help if possible, every little bit counts and is greatly appreciated.
