Pastor Kirk Coneley was targeted by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and was maliciously prosecuted by its gang unit for a crime that happened over 40 years ago.
The good news is that Pastor Kirk was acquitted of all of the charges — which carried a sentence of Life without the possibility of parole — on April 7, 2022!
Before his acquittal, Pastor Kirk endured years of trauma caused by his wrongful prosecution by the LA County DA’s Office and wrongful incarceration in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We had to fight for his release pre-trial because Pastor Kirk faced certain death given his increased risk of infection and severe complications in light of his compromised immune and respiratory systems.
During his long period of incarceration, his wife Deadrian used all of their savings and financial resources to support her husband. A donation will help them get back on their feet financially so they can meet their monthly needs and help pay for the costs of much-needed therapy after Pastor Kirk’s wrongful arrest, prosecution, and incarceration.
