Help Restore Our Home After Crisis

On July 2nd, we had a friend's acquaintance move into the room in the basement, and at the time, he seemed normal. Socially awkward, but normal.
But by the second week, he started touching other people's stuff, gaslighting, yelling at others staying in the house, going in and out all night, taking windows out, moving chairs everywhere to sit and stare at trees, and saying paranoid statements or suggesting others are controlling or stealing from him.
And then on Wednesday, it got exponentially worse, fast. We got a call from someone staying at the house, saying there was a lot of banging, loud noises, and it sounded like a construction site. The basement was barricaded by a bookshelf, windows were removed, and the power to the fridge and the oven was not functioning, etc.
So when we went to turn the power on and have a conversation, he threatened to murder Matt and refused to let him in. The police were called, tried to coax him out or into talking, but said we needed a restraining order or an eviction notice to forcibly remove him. We all vacated the house for the night. He turned the power off for 12 hours and blocked Matt.
We attempted to grab some things and see if he was home. He threatened to murder Matt if he came into the home. A request for a restraining order was filed in the court that morning, July 17th.
Malory went to grab Habanero (the snake) and take pictures of the outside. He tried to climb out of the window after her with a knife, but she ran away fast enough.
The restraining order was granted the same day, shortly after that exchange, and then the police were called and began working on removing the tenant, who did not comply or go willingly, and was transported to the hospital and then will be sent to jail directly after.
The police said there was a struggle, he definitely needed help, and that the bathroom especially looked like a tornado went through there. There were significant damages to the house, the entire basement, our personal possessions, and things he stole from all of us. Our safe place doesn't feel as safe anymore.
We have already spent at least $1000 to fix some of the things he has destroyed.
We are starting this GoFundMe to try to repair the damages inside and outside of the house, replace damaged items, and get the hazardous environment cleaned out and fixed.
